COMIC SUBMISSIONS

If you are a webcomic creator, and you’d like to have your work published by Rival Comics, you can send a submission to submissions@rival-comics.com

All submissions will need to be reviewed and approved by the Rival staff before being published on rival-comics.com.  Once approved, you will get a page in our comics section for your comic (rival-comics.com/yourcomic), where you will be able to upload and manage your own comic, and an email address from Rival (yourname@rival-comics.com).  You will also get free promotion from Rival Comics through paid advertising, as well as through promotions on popular social networking sites such as facebook and twitter, and popular comics sites like onlinecomics.net and webcomicz.com.

Before sending your submission email, make sure you have your comic title and the word “submission” in the subject line, and that you include a brief description of your comic in the email’s body.  Also, we would appreciate if you would provide information from any mirror sites that you post the comic on so that we are aware of other places the material is available.  Lastly, please include AT LEAST three pages of your comic for review.

WEBCOMIC REVIEWS:

If you are a comic creator, and you would like Rival Comics to review your webcomic, whether as a way to promote your comic or for your own personal benefit, you can also submit a comic to be reviewed.  We don’t review every comic we read, but sending a link to your comic will make it eligible for consideration.  If we choose to review your comic, we will give it an in depth, thorough, and honest review based on our perception of overall quality, creativity and talent.  Once we’ve reviewed your work, we will post it in our blog right here on the site and include a link to your comic.  A positive review is a great way to attract some attention, so feel free to quote, copy or paste pieces of the review in your own blog or website to show people visiting your site what we thought of your comic!

If you are submitting a comic for review, please include the title of the comic and the word “review” in the subject box of your email and include a brief description of your comic in the body.  Send review requests to submissions@rival-comics.com. If we choose to review your comic we will reply letting you know that it will be reviewed, and when to expect to see it on our site.  We will also email you when the review is complete.
