Q: Is there more than one page to your comics, or do you only post the latest?
A: Yes there’s more than one page! The navigation in the comics section is set up just like Drunk Duck, Smack Jeeves, or any other popular webcomic hosting site, meaning the latest comic will show up on the comic homepage with navigation buttons underneath that say “next”, “previous”, or “first”, which would obviously take you to the first page of the comic you are reading. You can also search each comic by category, issue, or chapter. On the comic homepage there are links to navigate between chapters or issues, making reading a specific story-line simple. Thanks for the question! If you have anything else you’d like to ask, don’t hesitate!
Q: How do I get my comic published on Rival Comics?
A: If you have a comic that you would like to be published on Rival Comics, you must send a submissions email to submissions@rival-comics.com. The email should have the title of your comic in the subject line, followed by the word submission. In the email you should provide a short description of your comic and why you’d like it published on Rival. You must also provide information about any mirror sites that you might have. Lastly, you should attach at least three pages of your comic for review by the Rival team. After that, you just wait for a response back from one of us at Rival!
Q: What types of comics do you publish?
A: Rival publishes comics from any genre, but that doesn’t mean that we will publish any comic. Maybe this seems unfair, but we only publish what we like, and what we feel fits the image that we are trying to create with Rival Comics. While the genre or art style may not have much sway on whether or not we publish your comic, the overall quality of art, writing, and presentation will. We really want to see comics that the creators spent time to make, that show creativity and talent, and that are presented well. If you have something that fits this criteria, feel free to shoot us a submission email so we can get started building your site!
